Happy and Excited!!!

What a crazy couple of days! Ever since my successful back surgery, I have had this problem where I just can't sit still. I just want to keep moving, keep busy. It is really easy to take the simple things in life for granted. One thing that everyone takes advantage of is being able to walk. It's not something you think about often. If something you need is across the room, you just get up and get it. There is no thought process to it. It is an awesome miracle that I am able to walk, and I feel like I just have so much catching up to do. The past two years, I have gotten used to the idea that I am not able to do much, and now I am constantly on the go! Just like I used to! It is a great feeling to be able to walk my dog around the block whenever I feel like it.

My trip to Utah is getting closer and closer. I am really anticipating and counting down the days till I get to go! Here is a short list of examples of why I can't wait to go!!!

I am SO excited to get out of Cleveland!

I am so excited most importantly to get to go the Temple and do baptisms for my ancestors!

I am also way excited to meet my extended family (the McNeills)!

I'm so excited to see the beautiful Salt Lake landscape and mountains!

I am so excited to be around so many LDS people!!

I am so excited to get on an airplane! (but not excited to go through airport security)

I am so excited to go see the Temple Open House!

I am so excited to go hiking with Abby (Sister Dickson!)

I am so excited for the unknown!

I am so excited for the SINGLES WARDS!!! watch out boys, here I come!!!

I am so excited for the road trip back with the Holloways!

I am all in all excited, if ya can't tell!!!

  1. Amen, sista! On the walking part. I have to have Emalee get me most things at night because my knee hurts too bad to do it myself. Oh the little blessings that we take for granted. I saw a lady run across the road today, and wished that I could do that! One day! Love ya, we are excited for you to get here too.
